Our baby loves this bottle

By Kate Kareus on May 13, 2013

At 5 months our very active baby started preferring this over all other bottles we tried. Great for his car seat because he can easly handle the nipple by himself. Does not get in the way of his view as he eats.

Mother of Twins

By Jen DiMaggio on November 10, 2008

We have twins and these have been, honestly, great! We first tried them at about 1 month (corrected age - they were 3 months premature) and for as much as they sucked, they just weren't getting enough to come out. It was VERY, VERY slow to feed them this way and we gave up. Since then, and thinking about it and looking at the nipples these come with, we realized the nipples are too slow of a flow (for our babies, at least). All we did was swap the nipples that came with them with other nipples we received from the hospital when they were discharged (many other nipples work, too, like Dr. Brown's... ) and they worked PERFECTLY! Now they are 4 months corrected age, and these bottles are even better. Sometimes you have to put it back in when the baby lets it come out, but other than that, they are a lifesaver. Also, we find, when they are really hungry, they rarely let the paci come out. Also, you DON'T have to suck any of the milk out yourself... like someone else said, you can just squeeze the nipple a couple times and also it helps to hold the bottle up above your baby's head when they first start sucking (to help get the milk up), after that, you just set it down beside them and they suck away. We've never had a problem with the milk "not staying in the nipple" like someone else mentioned.I should also add that we use them almost every time we are out and about. And, nearly every time we've been out and people see our twins eating while in the stoller, they stop and ask where we got them.Again, our babies are 4 months now and they have no problems with these. We are definitely very happy with this purchase

FANTASTIC invention!

By Erin Rippy on August 29, 2007

First, to all the parents who are sucking on the bottle to 'get it started' for your babies - STOP. LOL, all you have to do is squeeze the nipple once or twice, which pushes the air down and pulls the liquid up. If you read the insert that comes in the package, you would discover that for yourself. The Podee has been a lifesaver for us. It's great for traveling. We use it when our baby is in her car seat or stroller. It's great for late night feedings when you're drowsy and baby is hungry. How many times have we all nodded off a bit and dropped the bottle? Too many times to count. Now, I can hold and rock my daughter comfortably while she eats without worrying about nodding off and upsetting the mood.Everytime I am out in public and my daughter is in her stroller happily sucking away on the Podee, people are amazed by this device, most have never seen it before, and everyone wants to know where to get it!

I just wanted to let you know what a great product you have. The hardest thing about twins is feeding them both at the same time. Now with the Podee bottle, it's so easy. Driving in the car, shopping at the mall or just sitting in their high chairs--we use them all the time. Luke, my one baby, won't take a bottle without the Podee, I guess he must get less air and I think this is one of the reasons why feeding time is so relaxing for both of them. I have turned everyone in my Twins Club onto them. Thanks again, you have made my life a lot easier. Mother of Twins, Illinois

worth a shot!

By J. Evans VINE VOICE on July 1, 2007

i LOVE these podee bottles. i first saw them on Oprah but had totally forgot they exisited till i got pregnant. these are awesome especially when baby is hungry in the car and for night time feedings. lots of pieces to clean though. everything can be dishwashed except the tubes which need to be cleaned with a pipe scrubber that come with the bottle. The Podee bottle is amazing. Not only does it help me feed my baby in her car seat while driving to work, I find it also calms her. She feeds in a partial upright position with the bottle so it seems to really help with reflux too. It has also been a big help when getting ready for work or making dinner. It keeps my baby always fed on schedule when my schedule isn’t going so well. I hope everyone finds out about your bottle. What a help!JoAnne L. California.

Podee has been a true blessing - my daughter had colic and the Podee was the only feeding system besides breast feeding that would calm her down. It allowed me to get out of the house without her screaming. I tried propping a bottle, but it just didn't work. She could use the Podee bottle by herself and be perfectly content. And I didn’t have to worry about her getting too much formula this way. Now she is five months old and she has mastered the Podee Feeding System. I am very active with different groups and activities like Gymboree, Mom's Clubs, Hospital Play Groups, etc. In addition, my husband and I take our baby out with us every weekend. The system has allowed us to stay involved. Everyone asks about the Podee system so I bought the remaining bottles you had at Babies R Us and gave them away as shower gifts. Even though I still nurse, this product has been a real life saver!Mother of one, Minnesota.

Biggest Time Saver & Great for Preventing Gas!!

By N. Wolfanger on August 26, 2013

This bottle was wonderful for feeding my son when traveling or while he was in a seat. It's much safer than propping up the bottle which is never a good idea. It's also great for preventing gas because the tube goes to the bottom of the bottle eliminating excess air from being ingested. I recently gave one to my sister in law for my nephew & she loves it too.

Our son, Nicholas Mozart [removed for safety] absolutely loves his Podee®! If he could type, he would tell you that it is the second best way to enjoy his meal. The first of course is breastfeeding. He especially loves to dine in front of the TV while watching any football game that may be on. Thank you Podee®! See attached picture. (20 years from now he will be wearing the helmet with tubes that holds drinks)

When I first saw your bottle I was skeptical. As a breastfeeding mom, I thought that it would be horrible not to hold your baby for a feeding. Well, my third baby was born. I already had a 5 and a 2 year old. She hates her carseat and despises a pacifier. With 2 other kids to run around, I had no choice but for her to be in a carseat. After weeks of hearing her scream and everywhere we went I saw your bottle. [we] picked it up. It's been bliss!! She rides along in her carseat happily drinking milk that I express for her into her Podee®. She loves it and we can all travel in peace!!

I felt compelled to tell you just how much your product has meant to our family. My 14-month-old son was diagnosed several months ago with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. This terrible disease has prevented him from having the independence he obviously desires. For his first year of life he was mostly breastfed. I was unable to skip the bottle and use a cup with him because his muscles just will not allow him to hold anything at an angle. The simple weight of a cup or bottle is too much for him. Unfortunatley, I had to hold a bottle for him just as one would for a newborn. Although I loved the closeness, I longed to see my little boy feed himself. With a three-year-old besides, I also needed some time! I stumbled upon the Podee bottle sheerly by accident. I never knew there was such a thing. Jackson is seen by several doctors, therapists, and even a nutritionist. They think this bottle is the perfect thing for him and wonder why they have never seen this product before. On a whim, I decided to see if you had a website, and therefore I couldn't resist sending this note. I hope other parents with children of special needs can learn of this very special product. It is the only means of self-feeding my son has. It literally has changed my schedule for the better! I can now leave the house with my son to run an errand and know that he can eat in his stroller by himself. No more searching for a place to sit and hold him! It’s nice to have free hands to do the dishes and laundry! Thanks so much. I must obtain another Podee bottle soon! Anonymous.
